BIOGRAPHY

Rebecca Foster-Clarke is a contemporary figurative artist, she earned for BA at Norwich University of the Arts (2021).

Foster-Clarke paints the disconcerted nature of being a young woman. Her characters are intertwined in a tragicomedy where tongue-in-cheek humour and the ominous notion of the uncanny merge. The bright colour palette and near-feverish realism transcends to create an unsettling dreamlike world. Foster-Clarke’s works often depict women, insects, animals and still life scenes.
