BIOGRAPHY

Leo Luccioni is a multidisciplinary artist working across various mediums, including installation, sculpture, printmaking and drawing, highlighting the ambiguity of man’s relationship with consumerism in a neoliberalism era. His subtly provocative work constantly applies capitalistic phenomenons – such as counterfeit, delocalised production of his pieces, and advertising to the artistic field, questioning the absurdity of mass production and the illusion of material happiness of our time.

Luccioni’s work has been exhibited in several solo exhibitions, including Lays Nature, Stems Gallery, Miami (2020); Egregorien, Everyday Gallery (YYY), Anvers, Belgium (2020); Hyperstition, Centre Intermonde, La Rochelle, France (2020); Nul si découvert, Hotel de ville de Paris (2019) and SALE, Moonens Foundation, Brussels (2018). His work has also been featured in group exhibitions, such as La Totale, Studio Orta – les Moulin,  Boissy-le-châtel, France (2020); Echo, BK6, Avee Gallery, Courtrai, Belgium (2020); MiartMilano, Stems Gallery, Milan (2020); Sainte-Marguerite, Chapelle Sainte Marguerite, Centuri, France (2020); Printfighter, galerie 100 Titres, Brussels (2019); Satellizing, Verbeke Foundation, Kemzeke, Belgium (2019);
