BIOGRAPHY

A self-taught artist and ceramicist, Jake Clark's inspiration was his grandparent's collection of pots and sculptures. His hyper-coloured, glossy glazed ceramics pay tribute to cultural icons from brands, cultural institutions and pop culture to popular food chains. Clark's works combine the symbolism and slickness of commercial culture and branding, his purposefully handmade style gives a memorabilia-like appearance.
