BIOGRAPHY

Since 2020 Aryo Toh Djojo’s paintings have explored the idea of mystery and spirituality through the subject of UFOlogy. He uses the airbrush in a traditional, free-hand technique, without the use of stencils or masking tape. His cinematic images and subjects portray the mise-en-scènes of daily life with UFOs lurking in the distance and tries to bring the viewer into a state of meditation- in hopes to find answers within and beyond our world. 

His work was featured in solo exhibitions, including Transmission, Wilding Cran Gallery, Los Angeles (2021); 5318008918, Public Land, Sacramento, CA (2021) and Vodka Sodas & Gasoline, Weekend Gallery, Los Angeles (2018).

He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, California.
